Gary Alumni Honors Event
The Henry E. Bennett Achievement Foundation presents Gary Alumni Honors Awards. Gary Alumni Honors will take place on Sunday September 28th at 1pm at Marquette Pavilion in Gary, Indiana. We are proud to present the "Gary Alumni Honors"—a celebration recognizing Gary, Indiana’s finest homegrown talents in eight fields of human endeavor. Those fields are Sports, Business, Healthcare, Legal, Civic, Government, Education and Entertainment.
Keynote Speaker: Karen Freeman-Wilson
The event will include a keynote speech by Karen Freeman Wilson, President & CEO of the Chicago Urban League and former Mayor of Gary, who will receive the Government Award.
2023 Annual Kappa Golf Classic & Scholarship Fundraiser
The Gary Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity in partnership with the Henry E. Bennett Achievement Foundation will be hosting its Annual Scholarship Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 11 AM event start, 12 PM shotgun, at River Pointe Country Club in Hobart, Indiana.
Golf: includes cart, green fees, lunch at the turn and dinner after golfing

The Henry E. Bennett Achievement Foundation Launch Event
Please join us for wine and light hors d'oeuvres as we introduce "The Henry E. Bennett Achievement Foundation, Inc." to Northwest Indiana. Our mission is to assist male youth in Northwest Indiana along the pathways of success and support underserved members of the community in achieving their aspirations. Support the less fortunate in our community and mentor young men. Come out to enjoy and learn about the Foundation's plans.
